I am currently a grad student at Midwestern State University, and I really enjoying my time there thus far. I have profound weaknesses for good books, foreign languages (especially Slavic ones), and really smooth music. I am a sucker for a nice bass line, what can I say? What to say but I'm 25 and due to a long list of unfortunate incidents i live with my dad his new wife my 1/2 sister and her 2 kids. I lost touch with most of my friends 2 years ago when i quit my last job but that is a long story. I keep a few close friends whom I've known for several years. I have a job that I enjoy. I'm intrested in learning in general and like to watch the history/science/discovery channel over dramas. I may be one of a handful of people that enjoys school for the lectures. I like to stay busy, and keep projects that I can work on.

I decided to revamp my profile to possibly give more insight to who I am or what I am about. I am in my thirties, previously married, and truly feel I have loved , but not truly been unequivocally in love with anyone. The thought that I never really loved anyone unconditionally except my children scared me, but now it truly doesn't I think I have been waiting for that one person to truly ignite that flame in my heart that has been simply simmering in the interim. So who am I? Who is Daedra (and no I won't tell you how to pronounce my name for that is a little test of mine) ..I digress... SO.. Who am I? I am a single mother of two wonderful boys whom I adore, and in kind dote on me. Yet, being simply a mother does not encompass all that I am .. I am a student striving to complete a medical degree and after raising or mostly raising my children lol is trying to follow her dream. I am eccentric and quirky .. not in the old bag lady who carries her teeth in her pocket way, but in the wishing on the clock, picking up pennies only when they are heads up, reading books on transcendence or astrology, daydreaming of adventure, wishing on everyday little events to answer some of life's toughest debacles (e.g. if my cat rubs on my leg before I get to my PC then today I will get the letter from the med school I have been waiting for) sarcastic, horrible at telling jokes, and unrealistically optimistic. What else makes me ~~me? I have pondered that question often trying to see if I can find out exactly what pinpoints me as a person.. I will give it a fleeting attempt for like all humans I am complex. I love life all the little things, the big things , and the inconsequentially middle things .. I am a voracious reader and LOVE LOVE to learn. I am horribly lazy when it comes to grammar. I am a pretty big geek and would prefer a Solid State Drive to a new blouse ( I was going to say jewelry, but sadly every girl loves something sparkly lol ) I am feminine, but not afraid of getting dirty breaking numerous nails, or messing up my hair. I love conspiracy theories and have bought into, created and follow quite a few with some vigor (no I am not going to go Crazy Train on you and move into a cave with bottles of water and rope.) I have a dark, sardonic sense of humor and more often than not laugh at life with ill humor that let the true horror of the world permeate my demeanor. No I am not pessimistic one of my core morals is hope. I hope this gives you a bit of who I am, but most of all I hope that you want to find out more for yourself. I don't want you to look at me and think oh she is pretty or her figure is voluptuous, or she seems smart... I want you to delve deeper than that & truly know me, for I feel that without doing so you can never truly be intimate with anyone.

I am a pretty outgoing person. I enjoy living life as it comes. As far as hobbies go, I wakeboard and waterski, write poetry and lyrics, play drums and keyboard, and enjoy getting new tattoo's and piercings. I currently have 6 1/2 tattoo's, and my ears,tongue, and lip pierced. I am also in the process of learning how to play guitar. Always trying to become more diverse in my music. I like to joke around but also can tell the difference when its time to be serious. Its not all about fun and games, but it is nice to let loose and enjoy life at the same time. I am a person who doesn't really hide anything. The way I feel is that if I don't know you, then why should I care if you like me. If you like me, cool. If not, I don't really care. Why lie to someone who you don't even know. What do you gain from something like that. I do like to go out for the most part and go to bars, clubs, play pool, dance, ect...., but I also enjoy just sitting at the house and watching a movie or chillin. Got a GSX-R600!!! Very excited!! I'm a kind hearted person that believes the best about people until they prove otherwise. I'm a people pleaser and hate it when someone I care about is mad or disappointed in me but that doesn't mean I'll let you walk all over me.

I'm a man for one. So you just never know what's going to happen.. I have an ex-wife and two teenage kids, so I have no time for BS. I'm told that I'm fun to be around, and it must be true cause people around me laugh a lot. I hope they are laughing with me and not at me.. I'm about as easy going of a man as you will find. I don't get upset very often unless I see someone treating women or child badly. If I do, I'm not a pleasant person to them.

I'm an IT Specialist for the second largest software company on the planet(can you guess who that is?). So at the present time I'm on the road often, but I'll be back in my lab environment soon enough. Traveling and staying in Hotels gets old quick.

I'm Hispanic guy who works in the professional world of Technology. I'm a proud parent of an awesome and incredible seven year old girl who is my world. I enjoy many things and dislike the mundane things in life so spontaneity is also part of my life. I enjoy music, family, hanging out with friends, sports, pubs, going out to dinner, cooking dinner, cook outs, going to the movies or kicking it at home and watch movies next to a nice cozy fire in winter time or just lay back and have a nice long conversation about anything or nothing at all, a good sense of humor is part of the package. Serious note on a summart. I just moved back to Texas, from Denver. Pretty much lived in every state in the Union now, after the year in Colorado. It was great, but my family, my friends and new friends are all back here in Texas, and that's important. Being loyal to your friends and family, especially the ones you know that you will still talk too when your old, wheelchair-ridden....erm well hopefully not that, but old, and retired. :D

I accomplished a childhood dream of starring a movie. It was an independant movie, and veyr low budget, but it made the Film Festival in Lake Havasu City, and it was cool to notice a bunch of people who recognized me from the movie. Movie is called Lee....your basic slasher, teenagers get killed movie, but I always say..... I was in a movie.
